Projecting the Biggest Surprises of WWE Clash at the Castle and AEW All Out
With two major events this weekend—WWE's Clash at the Castle and AEW's All Out—wrestling fans are ready for big surprises as both companies look to outdo the other.
On the WWE side, excitement is riding high as Triple H took over creative control and immediately started the process of rebuilding the Raw and SmackDown after Vince McMahon left them in shambles.
In All Elite Wrestling, Tony Khan has been dealing with a plethora of injuries that have thrown off the long-term booking cycle that the company has become known for, leaving fans wondering if All Out will live up to the high expectations set by previous pay-per-views.

Here are the biggest likely surprises from the two pay-per-views.
MJF Returns
AEW knows that with Clash at the Castle on Saturday afternoon, WWE will have the chance to make the first impression this weekend. With Drew McIntyre likely to win the world title from Roman Reigns, Khan needs a big moment to get people talking.
Sunday is the ideal time for MJF to make his triumphant return to AEW programming.
It has been around three months since the last time MJF was seen in AEW, leaving fans to wonder if he was holding out due to a contract dispute, was on an extended vacation or he was making them think he had quit.
With confusion and uncertainty surrounding Jon Moxley, CM Punk and the world title scene, All Out would be the perfect opportunity to further shake up the championship pecking order by having The Salt of the Earth show up and decimate everyone involved.
MJF is one of the best things going in wrestling today and booking his return for Sunday’s PPV would be the magnitude of surprise AEW needs to have fans talking about its show instead of Clash at the Castle.
Sasha Banks and Naomi Win Gold
After a shocking victory for Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament, rumors have started to swirl about the possibility of Sasha Banks and Naomi returning to confront the new titleholders in Cardiff, Wales.
Instead of just confronting them, the former champs should issue an impromptu challenge and win the belts, setting up a long-term feud with Bayley and her new faction.
Allowing Rodriguez and Aliyah to win the titles gave the new duo instant credibility, but the belts should be around the waists of a better tag team as soon as possible.
With Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai poised to chase the tag team gold as heels, letting Banks and Naomi return to WWE programming and beat the makeshift tandem would create an iconic moment.
Add in the fact that Banks and Naomi could come out on the following episode of Raw to celebrate, only to be brutally attacked by Sky, Kai and Bayley, and it would set in motion a blood feud that could help carry the company into the fall.
In a short time, WWE will help turn the women’s tag team titles from an afterthought into the key to a major storyline.
Bray Wyatt Makes an Impact
One of the most exciting possibilities for Clash at the Castle would be the return of Bray Wyatt and his Fiend character.
WWE’s decision to cut ties with the 35-year-old in July 2021 was one of the biggest mistakes in years, and Triple H should be looking to hire him back immediately.
In addition to being one of the biggest merchandise sellers in the company thanks to his Fiend alter ego, Wyatt is also one of the most creative Superstars in WWE history and should be allowed to flourish again under the leadership of Triple H.
While McIntyre deserves to beat Reigns clean for the world title, the post-match celebration should be cut short by the returning Wyatt.
As The Fiend, he should stalk to the ring while staring at the new champion, only to attack Reigns and leave him destroyed, thus explaining his likely absence from WWE programming.
With Reigns and McIntyre both needing a major storyline heading into the fall, adding Wyatt to the mix as a tweener who could decimate the titleholder as quickly as his challenger would make the main event picture much more entertaining.
If Wyatt returns as The Fiend in Cardiff with an epic entrance, the moment it creates in front of a passionate UK crowd will be something fans talk about for years to come.
