Jones, 79, has remained an active participant in the Cowboys' offseason wheelings and dealings, most recently giving reporters a look at the team's big board leading into the 2022 NFL draft.

Jones has been a hands-on owner since purchasing the team in 1989. Under his watch, the Cowboys have won three Super Bowls (though none since 1995), reached the postseason 16 times and won the NFC East 12 times.

Alongside his duties as team owner, he also serves as the general manager and president, with his son Stephen Jones serving as COO, executive vice president and director of player personnel.
