Patriots Rumors: Jabrill Peppers to Visit NE After Stints with Giants, Browns
The New England Patriots are reportedly hosting free-agent safety Jabrill Peppers for a visit Monday.
Field Yates of ESPN reported the news, highlighting the connection between Peppers and Patriots offensive assistant Joe Judge, who was the New York Giants' head coach the previous two seasons.
Peppers spent the last three seasons in New York after coming over as part of the trade that sent Odell Beckham Jr. to Cleveland. He was limited to just six games last season after suffering a torn ACL and high ankle sprain in the Giants' Week 7 game against the Carolina Panthers.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Judge was among Peppers' biggest fans with the Giants, with Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reporting the coach pushed to keep the safety on the roster last season.
While the injury will significantly lower his value on the open market, Peppers has the type of versatility that could make him thrive under Bill Belichick in New England. He's capable of moving from safety to the linebacker spot and thrived at Michigan when he was allowed to play a jack-of-all-trades role.
The NFL hasn't been as kind to Peppers, with Pro Football Focus giving him tepid marks in four of his five seasons.
That said, acquiring Peppers at his low point and finding the right role for him would be a quintessential Patriots move.
