NFL Trade Rumors: Ravens Receive Inquiries About Their RBs Despite Injuries
The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly received trade calls from teams interested in acquiring running backs on their depth chart, despite the team previously losing J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill to season-ending injuries in the preseason.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the Ravens have fielded calls on a depth chart that now includes Latavius Murray, Ty'Son Williams, Devonta Freeman and Le'Veon Bell.
The report did not say which running backs have received the most interest. Williams has been by far the most effective runner of the quartet, averaging 6.1 yards per carry and seeming like a potential breakout candidate before losing time to the trio of veterans in recent weeks.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The rookie's struggles in pass protection paved the way for Murray to seemingly wrest control of the starting job. Murray carried the ball 18 times in last week's win over the Denver Broncos while Williams was a surprise healthy scratch. Freeman and Bell have been largely ineffective in limited work.
Aside from Williams, who has looked the part as a runner, the Ravens' running back room has packed more name value than actual production. Murray is averaging just 3.4 yards per carry and hasn't had a run longer than 11 yards; Williams had two carries of 20-plus yards in 27 attempts before his benching.
That said, as teams across the NFL continue to deal with a rash of injuries to their running back depth chart, simply having a guy in camp who can pick up pass protection is a plus.
