Larry Grant Video: Watch 49ers Player Eat Skittles After Big Play vs. Seahawks
Marshawn Lynch's Skittles craze has brought one important matter back to the forefront of American minds: Skittles are really good.
Larry Grant agrees. Despite the fact that his defense gave up the first rushing touchdown of the season and their first 100-yard rusher since 2009, the 49ers beat the Seahawks in their Christmas Eve matchup, moving to 12-3 and dashing Seattle's playoff hopes.
That win was all but clinched when Niner linebacker Larry Grant stripped quarterback Tarvaris Jackson from behind to force a turnover for San Francisco.

Biggest Questions Surrounding 2026 NFL Season After the Draft 🤔
How did Grant want to celebrate? Well, Skittles is a pretty good way to do it. After all, he was in Lynch's home stadium, so it was not in short supply.
It was a beautiful sight for the 49ers and their fans, as that was a brutal, hard-hitting game they got against a tough division rival.
This is extra sweet for Grant, as he is filling in for injured superstar Patrick Willis, who has missed each of the last three games due to an injured hamstring he hurt against the Rams. Grant has filled in nicely for Willis, as the 49ers have gone 2-1 in the three full games without Willis, and survived for a win over St. Louis despite losing Willis in the first quarter.
With the Week 16 win, the 49ers all but locked up the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs. One loss from the Saints, or a 49ers' win over the Rams next week, gives the 49ers the No. 2 seed over the Saints. It also keeps San Francisco alive for the No. 1 overall seed, if the Packers lose each of their next two games.
But I don't think Grant was celebrating all of that as much as he was celebrating a great play and game. When it's all over, nothing beats some Skittles.
