LeSean McCoy Injury: Eagles Star RB Carted off Field with Ankle Injury
Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy was carted off the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury in their Christmas Eve matchup versus Dallas.
McCoy was taken into the locker room for X-rays after limping off the field midway through the second half. The injury apparently wasn't very severe, as McCoy was back on the field a few minutes later for the fourth quarter.
McCoy didn't manage much success against the Cowboys however. He carried the ball 13 times, but mustered just 35 yards. He also had one catch for 10 yards.

Underrated FA Signings 📈
On the season, McCoy has been phenomenal. His 1,274 rushing yards are second-most in the NFL, trailing only Jacksonville's Maurice Jones-Drew. McCoy also has 17 rushing touchdowns on the season, which is most in the league by far.
His big play ability has been a crucial part of Philadelphia's offense all season; he is a threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball, as his 14 runs of 20-plus yards are also a league-high.
Unfortunately for McCoy, his great production hasn't led to team success. The Eagles were billed as the "Dream Team" heading into the season, but a 1-4 start quieted those talks immediately.
Philadelphia improved to 7-8 after beating their NFC East rival, but they needed a Christmas miracle to make the playoffs. Since the Giants beat the New York Jets, however, Philadelphia has been mathematically eliminated from the postseason.
