NBA Trade Rumors: Chris Paul for Stephen Curry or Bust for Hornets-Warriors
If the New Orleans Hornets are determined to move point guard Chris Paul before the 2011-12 season begins, they really only have one true option.
For them, it's quite simply Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry or bust.
Current reports have the Warriors as one of the teams interested in Paul and the Hornets have definitely let out the fact that Curry is one of the players they have a lot of interest in.

For New Orleans, this is the deal they have to make happen. Anything else will just be disappointing.
Not only for the sake of Curry, but SI.com's Sam Amick reports that the Warriors last three lottery picks would be included in the proposed deal. That would be Curry, Ekpe Udoh and this year's first-round pick, Klay Thompson.
In Curry the Hornets would get the young franchise player that dealing a superstar like Paul should demand in return.
Any rumored proposal from the likes of the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks or any other team, won't be able to measure up to what the Hornets could get from the Warriors.
Quite simply, that's because of Curry. He's the closest thing the Hornets can obtain to help minimize the possible loss of Paul. Paul is the better player now, but Curry is going to be a star in the NBA. Sure dealing Paul stinks for Hornets fans, but acquiring a talent like Curry makes things a little better on the Hornets end.
The other teams can't really offer that.
One thing that Paul stated is that he would consider signing with a team that would sign his former teammate Tyson Chandler. The Warriors are really the only team in on Paul that's in a position to do that.
If all the dominoes fall in place for the Hornets to deal Paul, Golden State should be their only option.
Anything else will be a bust.
