Stevie Johnson visited Revis Island and was more than surviving.
Johnson went on to drop what would've almost certainly been the game-winning touchdown, but not before stealing headlines.
Through one half of play the wide receiver had recorded five catches for 44 yards and one touchdown on No. 24.
On the touchdown catch he did more than just beat the league's top corner; he mocked Plaxico Burress and Santonio Holmes in celebration.
Johnson did a little dance before pretending to accidentally shoot himself in the leg, mocking Burress' accidental shooting a few years back.
He then stumbled around before regaining balance, taking flight like Santonio Holmes and finally crashing to the ground clutching his leg.
Johnson had reason to celebrate as he helped put the Bills up 14-7 at the time, but his little party ended up actually shooting the Bills in the leg.
The wide receiver was penalized 15 yards and the Bills then shanked the ensuing kickoff.
Exactly 1:01 later Plaxico Burress caught a touchdown pass tying the game at 14 all.
That score held for the rest of the first half and the two 5-5 teams took the field in the second knowing full well that their seasons essentially hung in the balance, before New York escaped with a 28-24 win.
The Bills, losers of four straight, will need Stevie Johnson to keep making plays if they are going to finally earn a "W," but they certainly don't need him shooting himself or the team in the leg one more time.
