Milan Lucic and Paul Gaustad Fight Video: Watch Sabres Stand Up for Goalie
As soon as Milan Lucic hopped over the boards for his first shift on Wednesday night, Buffalo Sabres alternate captain Paul Gaustad came onto the ice and lined up next to the Bruins forward and got ready to fight.
Gaustad was trying to get back at Lucic for colliding with Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller when the two teams played in Boston last week.
After doing nothing to stand up for their goaltender in Boston, everyone knew the Sabres would come at the Bruins hard from the opening faceoff.

Lucic was not suspended by the NHL for the hit on Miller, who suffered a concussion as a result of the collision.
Lucic destroyed Gaustad in this fight, but the Sabres leader gave a valiant effort. Gaustad is not a huge fighter, but he stood up for his team.
The Sabres played really physical with the Bruins in the first period as the two teams got into several scrums.
Boston wore down the Sabres over the 60 minutes plus overtime. After expending a lot of energy in the first period, Buffalo was not able to keep at that tempo for the rest of the game, and the Bruins tied the game at 3-3 in the third period from a Zdeno Chara goal.
The Bruins won in a shootout from a goal by Benoit Pouliot.
