The Rock Video: Watch The Rock Lay the SmackDown on John Cena
John Cena, the greatest wrestler the WWE has today, asked The Rock, one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time, to tag-team with him at Survivor Series against The Miz and R-Truth.
While most fans of the WWE have been hearing about the return of The Rock to the ring for the first time in seven years for the past six months, it was still cool to see that he really is coming back.
In typical WWE fashion, The Rock came to RAW via satellite and further teased his first live appearance in the WWE to further garner media attention and the attention of every closet wrestling fan in America.
John Cena may have a generation at his whim, but there is a whole other generation that grew up with The Rock and held him as the greatest of all-time. Many of those fans don’t watch anymore, they have “grown-up,” but The Rock will bring them back.
This video is the beginning of an ongoing war between John Cena and The Rock that will stretch at least six months until its peak and finale at WrestleMania 28.
Not only will The Rock and John Cena’s match set up a perfect spot for tension to mount between Cena and Rock, but it will also give major credibility to R-Truth and The Miz.
After this match is over though, I expect a war of words that hasn’t been seen since the days of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for The Rock to start showing up all the time.
