Fantasy Football Rankings Week 8: Drew Brees and QBs with the Best Matchups

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has another easy matchup this week against the St. Louis Rams, his second consecutive opponent who has yet to win a game this NFL season.

Many other top quarterbacks such as Cam Newton, Ben Roethlisberger and Matthew Stafford have favorable matchups and will perform very well for your fantasy football team.

Let's take a look at the quarterbacks with the best matchups in Week 8.

Drew Brees

Lucky Drew Brees gets to face another winless team this week in the St. Louis Rams, one week after he helped the Saints embarrass the Indianapolis Colts, 62-7.

Brees threw for 325 yards last week and only missed on four of his 35 pass attempts. Brees will have another monster day against the weak Rams defense.

Brees could easily be the No. 1 fantasy quarterback of Week 8.

Ben Roethlisberger

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger plays the New England Patriots this week, and the Patriots' pass defense is the worst in football.

Ranked No. 32 in the league, New England has had major problems defending the pass this season, and have even allowed 300-plus passing yards to mediocre quarterbacks like Chad Henne of the Miami Dolphins.

Roethlisberger and speedy wide receiver Mike Wallace will have a big day on Sunday, and even if the Patriots beat the Steelers, Big Ben will perform very well for your fantasy football team.

Matt Schaub

The Houston Texans dominated the Tennessee Titans last week 41-7, and Matt Schaub was a major reason why.

Most impressive in his performance last week was his accuracy, and he completed 18-of-23 passes for 296 yards two touchdowns.

The Jaguars defense won't be able to contain the Texans' running back duo of Arian Foster and Ben Tate, and their rushing success will make Schaub's passing game easier to manage.

Schaub will have a big day against the Jaguars this week.
