5 WWE Superstars Who Need a Change of Scenery

WWE has plenty of great wrestlers on the roster. There is no doubt in my mind on that one. Sadly, I think a few of them may need a little bit of a "change" going forward.

I am not a fan of "fantasy booking," so I will try to keep this as close to reality as possible. I just feel a few guys in the WWE are a few steps away from greatness/being demoted. Who are these men? Let's take a look.

5. Alex Riley

According to this report, he is currently injured. It does not seem too serious, but he is hurt. What could he do in the future to bump his status?

Honestly, he just needs to keep doing what he has been doing. It is that simple. Fans will get behind him, and the rest will be history. All I ask is that he be placed on a Survivor Series team next month. That is not too much to ask for. A simple change in being bumped up the card a little is all I want to see.

The man has "it," and he is high on my list of potential main-event players one day.

4. Hornswoggle

I love seeing him every week on WWE NXT, but I don't think it is enough. We need to see Hornswoggle back on Raw. I think it is time. Usually, I am not a fan of guys just changing shows for no reason, but this one will serve a purpose.

In a few weeks, the Muppets will be on WWE Raw! This is the perfect chance for Hornswoggle to show back up on Raw, ready to go with his great comedic skills. Hornswoggle is apparently a huge fan of the Muppets (having a tattoo of them), so it is only fitting he returns on this night.

3. Aksana

Aksana may be my favorite WWE Diva of all time. I may be a little bit over the top with that statement, but after Trish Stratus, she may be my next favorite.

Her accent is just the icing on the cake for me. Her interactions with Teddy Long are so great, but she deserves more. Her great work in FCW only furthers my stance.

What would her big change be? Well, I want to see her in the ring more. Backstage segments are funny and all, but she is just as amazing in the ring. Let Beth Phoenix destroy her for all I care. Just put her in a match!

2. John Morrison

Before all the insults come in, and the offensive language begins let me ask everybody a question.

Do all of the Morrison fans out there enjoy seeing him lose in two minutes each week? Are you enjoying his time on Raw (or Smackdown) every time he is on?

Sorry to assume, but I would guess the answer is "no."

In that case, he needs a change of scenery. Truth be told, my opinion is still that he is leaving the company. I have been saying that for months, and I have not wavered on it once.

Now what could Morrison do in the next week to "freshen" his character up? Well, I already offered him a spot in FCW months ago. I guess that was a bad idea. I mean, clearly being on the main roster is working out so much better, right?

Today, I make one final wish to save Morrison's WWE tenure. Go to FCW and make a change. I do not care if you shave your head, actually learn the "WWE style" of wrestling or just practice talking into a mirror for hours on end. Something. Anything!

Nobody wants to see you end up in TNA! Even I wouldn't wish that upon anybody.

1. Mark Henry

With the recent increase in Smackdown ratings, it is time to focus on the World Heavyweight Champion even more than usual. You can deny it all you want, but since Henry won the title in September, WWE has been seeing great results Friday night.

My solution to his huge momentum? I would give him all the TV in the world. Being in one segment on Raw was great, but why not interact with Big Show later on in the evening? Brawl in the parking lot. Fight backstage during an interview.

Henry needs to be on WWE TV even more right now. He is the best on the television today and he is never going to lose that world title. Never!
