When Wanderlei Silva faces off against Cung Le at UFC 139, it may or may not be Silva’s last fight, but it will be a fight no one should miss.

This is the perfect match up for Silva. It’s exactly the kind of fight he likes because it will be exciting for all of his fans to watch.

Silva is never in a boring fight, but going into the octagon with an extremely creative striker like Le will make this fight great.

Here are three reasons this is the perfect fight for Silva.

Styles Make Fights

Silva and Le are both dangerous strikers and they're great on the ground. Despite their skill on the ground, this fight won’t go to there. These two men are warriors that love to battle.

To the uninitiated, when fighters are working from their guard, MMA can be boring. Everyone, however, understands when fists come into the equation.

Silva’s fight with Le will be another in a long line of exciting battles that make “The Axe Murderer” one of the most beloved fighters ever.

Wanderlei Silva Is Still Fresh After Leben

Although Silva lost on a devastating KO to Chris Leben back in July, the fight wasn’t that long ago. That means Silva shouldn’t be too out of shape.

If Silva has continued to train and coach in between his fights, he will be in great shape as he starts his camp for this fight.

If he hasn’t been training, it won’t take him long to get back in shape so that he can begin to focus on how to fight Le.

Whether or not Silva has been training, it's perfect timing for him to get back in the octagon before any ring-rust sets in.

Wanderlei Silva Can Go out with a Bang

It’s high time Silva retired. Everyone sees it and no one wants Silva to get any permanent damage from fighting.

This fight is a win-win for Silva because even if he does lose, he’ll still be going out on a high note after what’s sure to be an exciting fight with Le.

Imagine if Silva and Chuck Liddell had retired after their battle. No mater who lost, it would have been the best way for both of them to leave the sport.

Silva’s fight with Le will be so exciting because each fighter loves to fight standing up. After what is sure to be an engrossing battle at UFC 139, Sliva can retire on a highlight worthy ending, and leave the sport as one of the greatest fighters ever.
