12/13 - Summers lead the Hoyas with 21 points Saturday as they defeated Memphis. He also was on top of the stats boards with seven rebounds, three blocks, and two steals. This was DaJuan's best game so far this season, and the depleated playing time in the last three blowouts clearly left him well rested.
12/08 - Summers was one of three Hoyas that had 14 points in Georgetown's blowout of Savannah State. He was only on the floor for 19 minutes, but connected on two three pointers, was six of eight from the floor, grabbed five boards and two steals.
12/06 - After playing only 17 minutes against the Terps, Summers was only on the floor for 22 minutes against the Eagles. He was incredibly efficient while on the floor, though, picking up 14 points, five rebounds, and one steal. Summers hit the second bucket of the game, a three pointer to give the Hoyas a 6-0 lead, and his second shot fell after almost 4:30 had elapsed to give Georgetown a 13-0 lead. Summers continues to develop nicely - he has great presence inside but also has a dangerous outside shot.
11/17 - Summers ran into foul trouble in the first half, picking up his second 10 minutes into the game. He found himself on the bench more than he should have as a result. Summers was key late in the second half when he scored seven points, five on free throws. All six of his free throw attempts were within the last four minutes of the game.
Preseason - During his sophomore season, many people expected DaJuan Summers to be the next Jeff Green. He's not, but he is still someone who can make those around him much better. He's a 6'8" forward who can shoot from the outside. Last season he still had Roy Hibbert inside and Patrick Ewing Jr. to play a similar role to him. They're both gone, so now Summers truly has to step up. His flashy dunks are always fun to watch, too.
