WWE Superstars: Top 5 Current Superstars in Need of a Change

Tons of WWE superstars are currently doing a great job. Others are not doing a darn thing to impress me (or others). Sometimes it is their own fault, and other times outside factors go against them.

Today, I am going to name a few guys (and one gal) who just need to so something—whether it is a face turn, a heel turn or just a complete overhaul. They need to do something or they will stay in the same spot forever.

Honorable Mentions

Drew

This guy can't even get TV time anymore. Such a sad state of affairs! He was moved to Raw, and his future looked bright a few months ago. Now? Nothing.

What is the change he needs? Honestly, I have no idea. He just needs something because he has every tool available to make it big in this business.

Zack Ryder

Yep, that guy! I loved his work on ECW. I thought his tag team with Curt years back with Edge was pretty fun. Now? He is still a great young talent, but his gimmick has "niche crowd" written all over it.

Maybe it is because I live in Wisconsin, not Long Island. Maybe it is because of the rumors out there about his lack of push. Who knows? All I know is his "broski" thing needs to end...

Hornswoggle

Get this man on TV! I try not to "fantasy book," but man alive! He could be doing so much on TV. Appearing on NXT does not count anymore to the audience, so he needs to make a splash on Raw or SmackDown ASAP!

5. Christian

I have made it very clear with this man. He is very talented. I am a big fan of his. He deserves to be a two-time World champion.

However, I also try not to "fantasy book" too much. Thus, his days in the main-event picture are all but done for now. What is next for Christian?

I have no idea, but his "whining and complaining" character can only go so far. A nice spot on the mid-card either on Raw or SmackDown (like it matters anymore) could work just fine. A face turn might be too soon right now, but it is definitely something to think about it.

4. Alex Riley

For those interested, I am on the Riley bandwagon and have been since he debuted on NXT last year. Long before he showed up on Raw, I was a fan.

The problem is he and his character have stalled. I won't get into the rumor as to why his push was stopped, but if it is true—I understand.

The video promo on Raw this past week was a great start at introducing the WWE Universe to exactly who Alex Riley is.

Right now, he is just "Miz-lite."

3. Triple H

Maybe I am losing my patience with all these "worked shoots." Maybe I am torn on him returning to the ring so soon. Maybe I just want the inevitable heel turn now.

I don't know what it is, but his character needs something right now. I can't even put my finger on it. Perhaps his match with Punk at Night of Champions is the "spark" he needs right now.

We shall see after the PPV...

2. Alicia Fox

Watch that promo! Excellent work from Ms. Fox from last year...

Sadly, it looks like she randomly turned face in the past week or two. Sure, Nattie beat her up on SmackDown a few weeks ago, so it makes sense for her to team with Kelly Kelly, but Alicia is a made heel.

There was no reason to mess with that. She is one of the more talented women on the roster, both in the ring and out of the ring. Making her a face is not going to work out well for her...

1. John Morrison

Yes, he needs a change.

Weeks back, I said he and Melina are on their way out of the WWE.

Then I said he belongs in the mid-card.

Next, I stated perhaps an FCW move would be best right now.

Well, maybe he just needs a complete overhaul to his character. The flips, dives and jumping off of walls backstage are beyond pointless.

Yes, they are impressive, and I could never do anything close to them. That doesn't mean you are huge WWE superstar on the rise. I am almost positive right now all of his fans are on Twitter asking him why he wasn't on Raw this past week and trying to "fantasy book" him to main-event status.

I know why that won't happen: His character is toast. Over and done with. Time for a change! 

My idea to save this man's career?

Shave his head, make him grow a goatee, put him in black trunks and black boots. At least there is a way to market that...
