TMZ are reporting that Bill Goldberg is set to return to the ring, seven years after his last match at WrestleMania XX.
While details on the match are sketchy at this point, Goldberg says the match will be in Africa next month, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to charitable organisations.
This is surely a great deed by Goldberg as one can only assume that his return bout would draw big money.
In the article Goldberg says:
"The only thing that would get me back in the ring is something that would positively impact those in need."
Goldberg seems to be padding his own legacy, as it was not that long ago that Goldberg wanted to return to the WWE to face Stone Cold Steve Austin, a match he thinks many fans want to see (and he may be right).
Seems to be an interesting situation Goldberg is in. Heavy promoting would have to be done if the match is to take place next month.
I don't understand why it'd be in Africa instead of America. I assume it has something to do with that "Rumble in the Jungle 2" idea that was floating around a few weeks ago.
Regardless, it has been confirmed by Bill Goldberg himself that he is in training to wrestle next month in Africa.
Exciting times for Goldberg fans...
