WWE Hot Rumor: John Morrison Leaving WWE Soon?

For anybody that has been reading my columns in the past week or so, that title should not be much of a shock. I know it does not shock me one bit.

For those still living in "fantasy booking" land and who are living in the past, this rumor comes off as nothing more than BS to you.

From those not reading the latest rounds of dirt-sheets, the rumor has it that, with Melina being fired last week, there still remains tons of heat on Morrison backstage.

Not only did Melina travel with her man on the last set of house shows, she also showed up to Raw and tried to gain entrance to the backstage area. How...stupid!

Do you get fired from a job and show up days later to "say hi" or be with your man? No. Maybe the next day to say goodbye or something could be arranged, but clearly WWE wants no part of this woman anymore, and John will be there to take the punishment of her actions.

Not only did Morrison return a few weeks back....to lose 3 or 4 straight matches relatively clean (save the neck excuse). Now word comes out that his contract is set to expire in a few months, and WWE may not even renew it.

Wow! Talk about making the wrong decisions in your personal life and having that affect your professional life. This reminds me so much of Jerry Lawler and the Kat back in 2001.

The Kat was rumored to have been a very bad influence backstage, so she got fired. What did her boyfriend at the time do (Jerry Lawler)? He quit to be with her. Yikes!

Months later, they broke up, and Jerry came back. Sadly, this looks to be where we are headed. Either Morrison will be canned soon or his contract will expire with no fanfare whatsoever.
