Hot and fast news clips about the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) are often welcomed by fans when time is short.

One thing remains constant; most fans are busy working, living and playing. They must carve their time for best usage.

FYI  WIRZ Thursday update:

Keselowski’s Road America crash caused no broken bones, but he is banged up and out of NNS race.

"Due to Brad Keselowski's accident while testing at Road Atlanta yesterday, he will not participate in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race this weekend at Iowa Speedway. Penske Racing will continue to evaluate Brad's condition. Further information will be provided as it becomes known."

FYI  WIRZ Wednesday Report:

Penske Racing reports that NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski crashed while testing at Road Atlanta. He was able to exit the wreck on his own but was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. It was a precautionary response to the crash.

Details will be available later when known.

Roush Fenway Racing states Carl Edwards has been signed to a multi-year contract starting in 2012.

The rumors of Edwards’ departure to Joe Gibbs Racing are silenced.

Owner Jack Roush: “Carl Edwards has achieved a level of success on and off track that would put him at the top of the list for any race team. We’re thrilled that our relationship will continue for many more.”
