Kenny Britt and Britney Spears Video: Find out Why Two Britts Don't Make a Right

In life, there are some paths that should never cross. For example, I don't want to know what would happen if a dingbat wide receiver with a laundry list of legal problems crossed paths with a has-been pop star that nobody cares about anymore.

Oh, wait. That's exactly what happens in the above video. Crap.

As you can see in the attached flicker show, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt found himself in a very interesting place at Britney Spears' concert in Nashville on Monday night. Specifically, Britt found himself handcuffed to a pole on a Mini Cooper with Britney and assorted other females all up in his personal space.

Now, my guess is that most fellas out there would love to have a lovely lass like Britney Spears in even the same zip code as their personal space. Heck, I know I would, and it looks like Britt didn't mind either. And if all we're talking about is good, wholesome fun, this strange encounter definitely makes the grade.

At the same time, there is something that is just plain wrong about the pairing of Britt and Brit. For the life of me, though, I can't put my finger on it...

Maybe it's the fact that Britney saw fit to put Britt in handcuffs. It was clearly meant as a harmless display of sexual suggestiveness, but one wonders if she has any clue about Britt's numerous encounters with the law over the past year or so. Did it ever occur to her that she may be pouring salt on wounds that are still fresh?

Probably not. In all likelihood, the only thing on Britney's mind at that point was the entertainment value of her concert. Most were there to hear her sing, sure, but a Britney Spears concert without a little innuendo would be like a Who concert without noise. In order to complete the ensemble, she had to writhe and grind all over a lucky member of the audience. Epic hawt, right?

Not if you ask me. In fact, I think there is something oddly depressing about the whole scene. It's been a long time since Britney's sexiness was at its peak, yet it's apparent that she is still hell-bent on maintaining the illusion that she is still as hot as she ever was. To keep up the charade, she needed a prop. Enter Britt, show equals stopped.

If that’s what passes as entertainment these days…yikes.
