F1 drivers must really hate the promotional work that they are forced to do to keep the plethora of sponsors happy. Sponsors love to have their company or product bask in the reflected glow of a Formula 1 car and they pay a hefty price for the privilege.

Drivers are forced to utter inane lines espousing the wonderful qualities of their sponsor. They have to shake hands and make small talk with people who know little or nothing about the sport.

To add to the joy, they have to spends hours on a plane to share in this joy.

After a promotional trip to Japan  for sponsor Red Bull, Toro Rosso driver Sebastien Buemi now has even more reason to hate after a fan tried, unsuccessfully, to hurdle his car.

Or maybe the chance to run down an idiot makes it all worthwhile.

Fan forgets to check before crossing the road!

The fan charges down the hill, directly into the path of Buemi's car.

While most people would try to stop, this guy went for the harder option and tried to hurdle the car.

Even the Jackass guys would think twice before trying this!
