Silvio Berlusconi: Mario Balotelli Is Not Mature Enough for AC Milan
Silvio Berlusconi (President of AC Milan and Prime Minister of Italy) declared that Mario Balotelli "has a style that does not suit" the team. He made this declaration as a response to the dart throwing incident that landed Balotelli in trouble.
The announcement also quashed any suggestion by Adriano Galliani (AC Milan Vice President) of accepting Balotelli from Manchester City during the Summer Transfer Window. The recent declarations from Berlusconi have inflicted more damage to Balotelli's career.
In addition, Balotelli has recently been dropped from the Italian National Football Team for his violation of its code of conduct.
While the rest of AC Milan are not candidates for sainthood, Balotelli disqualified himself from AC Milan secondary to his reckless behavior of random dart throwing as well as other forms of misconduct.
The behavior either proves that Balotelli is either immature or has a lack of judgment. The terrible thing is that people talk about it, but no action is taken.
Berlusconi deserves to be praised for taking a stance against misbehavior of this type by an athlete. It should be hoped that other teams will follow.
