According to reports, the felony is considered to be class D.

However, the incident has become a little bit suspicious.

When news broke Monday, Vrabel released a statement through his agent Neil Cornrich:

"It was an unfortunate misunderstanding, and I take full responsibility for the miscommunication." Vrabel concluded by saying, “I feel comfortable that after talking with the appropriate parties, we will resolve this matter.”

The Chiefs' linebacker is set to appear in court Wednesday as he's a plaintiff in an anit-trust lawsuit filed against the NFL titled Tom Brady vs. NFL.

No further updates have been reported regarding Vrabel's situation.
