Gennaro Gattuso of AC Milan to Players: Prepare for Derby Della Madonnina

Gennaro Gattuso (AC Milan Midfielder) has sounded the alarm about the lack of preparation for the Derby Della Madonnina.

He made his declarations in an interview with Itasportpress. Gatusso also talked about how AC Milan allowed other teams to accumulate points.

The reason (according to Gattuso) was losing to Palermo and not winning against Bari. The end result was the opening of the gap in the Serie A Cup.

Gattuso admitted that AC Milan has to prepare better for the Derby and find the way to close the gap. He also expressed a sense of uneasiness about Leonardo coaching Inter.

Gattuso talked about his surprise about Leonardo coaching Inter but was impressed with the good results. He also added his opinion about the situation of Kaka in Real Madrid and AC Milan.

In a separate interview with Gazzeta Dello Sport, Gattuso was asked about his preference between Kaka or Mario Balotelli being in AC Milan.

He said that his preference was for Kaka since Kaka made history in AC Milan. Gattuso elaborated that he is waiting for the return of Kaka when Real Madrid decides that he is no longer needed.

Gattuso concluded his declarations by stating that Alessandro Nesta is going to continue one more season in spite of talks of retirement.

It remains to be seen whether Gattuso's predictions will be true.
