Ryan Giggs vs Clarence Seedorf: Who's the Best Player?

The VS series is back and for the first issue, we will be looking at two of the biggest names in football, Ryan Giggs vs Clarence Seedorf.

Let me start the Article by saying I respect both of these players as two of the best in the business and two of my idols growing up.

In this article I will show as much of the Career of each player as possible and will try to be as fair to each so the battle is even.

 

 

Ryan Giggs

Ryan Giggs has played the entirety of his career at Manchester United and has been the left winger for many, many years. 758 appearances to be exact.

He was the First player ever to win the PFA Young player of the year award Consecutively. He currently holds the record for most assists, 289 in 535 games.

He was also named in the PFA Team of the century, the Premier league team of the century and the FA Cup team of the century.

In all he has won 10 Premier league Titles and been runner up 3 times. He has also won the FA Cup 4 times and again has been runner up 3 times. He's won the league cup twice and the community shield 7 times. And Finally, he has won the UEFA Champions league twice and the UEFA Super Cup and Intercontinental Cup 1 time.

He is simply one of the most successful players in football history.

 

Clarence Seedorf

Seedorf started his career in 1992 when he joined Ajax, since then he has played for Sampdoria, Real Madrid, Internationale (Inter Milan) and his current team AC Milan.

He is the only player to have ever won the UEFA Champions League with 3 different clubs. He was also named in Real Madrid's team of the Century.

He was named by Pele as part of the FIFA 100, a list of the 100 greatest living players.

In total, playing for Ajax he has won The Dutch Championship twice, KNVB Cup 1 time, Johan Cruyff Schaal 1 time and the UEFA Champions League 1 time.

At Real Madrid he won 1 La Liga Title, 1 Supercopa de Espana, 1 UEFA Champions League and 1 Intercontinental Cup.

In total for AC Milan he has won 1 Serie A Title, 1 Italian Super Cup, 1 UEFA Champions League, 1 UEFA Super Cup and 1 FIFA Club World Cup.
