I do not even know where to start with Tiger Woods.
I grew up cheering for him. I wanted Tiger to win every time he teed up that little white ball in a tournament. Lucky for me, the majority of the time Tiger won.
When people asked me who I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always the same: Tiger Woods.
So to see him fall so far is heartbreaking. Now, when Tiger starts a tournament I just hope he makes the cut. Forget winning! I just pray he does not come in dead last.
This season started off so promising.
Tiger told us all he was in a good place with his game. His swing coach, Sean Foley, had really been helping his game. Tiger had been dedicating hours upon hours each day to perfect his swing changes.
I thought Tiger would finally win back the hearts of the fans he betrayed.
That was until Tiger's first tournament at Torrey Pines. Sure, Tiger started well. But golf tournaments are 72 holes, not 18. And when rookie tour player, Brendan Steele told the press that Tiger did not try his hardest, I knew there were still some major issues Tiger had to work out.
I really did not think Tiger could sink any lower.
That is, until Tiger played in the Accenture World Match Play Championships this week.
Tiger was a number one seed! Thomas Bjorn was a 16! Yet, Tiger still found a way to blow it. I guess Tiger really does not care anymore.
On top of all of this, Tiger had already lost the number one world ranking. Currently, Tiger is only ranked third in the world.
There are two guys better than him! That disgusts me! Tiger Woods is the only name that looks right in the number one spot.
With all of these developments, it is clear that Tiger needs to retire from the game.
I do not see any other choice.
Tiger has already played in three tournaments this year. He has not won any. The only logical conclusion is for Tiger to hang his clubs in his garage and spend the rest of his life fishing.
Also, Tiger has made no progress in regaining his number one spot. That is horrendous. The fact that there are two other people better than Tiger at golf on a planet of over 7 billion is not acceptable.
Tiger's game also leaves one to wonder why he still tees it up. Tiger is the only professional golfer to have putting issues. He also is the only professional golfer to ever miss a fairway. Once Tiger started missing a couple putts and fairways, I knew it was time for him to give a retirement speech.
So there you have it. Tiger will never win another tournament again. In fact, I do not think he will ever shoot under par again.
Come on Tiger, do us all a favor and call it quits.
THIS IS NOT SERIOUS. THIS IS MEANT TO MAKE FUN OF ALL THE PEOPLE SAYING TIGER WILL NEVER COMPETE AGAIN. TIGER WILL PLAY GREAT GOLF SOON. HE JUST NEEDS TIME.
