At the now historical Fernando Montiel vs Nonito Donaire fight, KING J had the honor of interviewing legendary boxing commentator Al Bernstein, who is celebrating his 30th year of covering the sport of boxing.

The exclusive interview video with Bernstein is over 20 minutes long and everything is discussed from the past, present, future of boxing. Topics include both Showtime tournaments, Abner Mares vs Joseph Agbeko, Manny Pacquiao coming over to Showtime and what that means, who Al feels would win should Pacquiao and Mayweather ever fight. We also find out who is Al's favorite fighter of all time and his favorite fight that he ever called as a commentator.

We even get Al to provide us some advice to all the up and coming media people out there, and we even get him to sing a song for all his fans at the end.

Watch the video of this amazing exclusive interview where KING J goes one on one with Al Bernstein.

Here are some highlights from the interview:

On Pacquiao vs Mayweather

King J: Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, if you had to make a bet....

Al Bernstein: I have a prediction on that fight.  It's Manny Pacquiao by decision. He always throws 1,100 punches or a 1,000 punches or 1,200 punches a fight. Floyd Mayweather always throws 500 punches a fight.  So my problem is the way that Mayweather will win the fight is if he knocks Manny Pacquiao out, or he hurts him so much early that Manny Pacquiao stops attacking. When Manny Pacquiao attacks from all these different angles throwing 1,000 punches I don't know how (and some people think I'm crazy for saying this) and I love Floyd I think he's a terrific fighter, I don't know how he wins this fight by decision.

(Al goes into further depth in his break down of this fight)

King J: I only see Mayweather in trouble, if he is in trouble, only in the first few rounds and he pretty much just figures out all of his opponents and breaks them down from that point on so I always had the opinion that Manny would have to stop him (Mayweather) while he is trying to figure him out.

On Pacquiao moving from HBO to Showtime

King J: Let's talk about the biggest star arguably in the sport, Manny Pacquiao. The big news everyones talking about he's moving to Showtime. He's pretty much a Showtime fighter now, congratulations on that. A lot of people think he may be at the end of his career. Maybe the fights left are not as exciting as the fights that made him the man who he is today. What can Showtime do to enhance that or carry that on or perhaps with your sister company CBS?

On Abner Mares vs Joseph Agbeko

King J: The majority of the people are favoring Abner Mares to win the Bantamweight Tournament, is that still the case?

(Watch the video to see what Al Bernstein says in response to this question)

On Andre Ward and the Super Six Super Middleweight Tournament

King J: Let's talk about the other tournament going on Showtime, the Super Six Super Middleweight Tournament. I actually just talked with Andre Ward who I favored from the start to win the whole thing. Maybe it's cause we are American and we just want to chant "USA," but I also made a joke with him cause he told me he has two more fights left in the tournament before a winner is declared, and I joked with him saying man our grandkids are going to graduate college before this tournament is finally done.

On Al Berstein's favorites of all time

King J: A lot of your fans want to know who is your favorite fighter of all time and let's follow that up with who your favorite current fighter is?

(Watch the video to see what Al Bernstein says in response to this question)

King J: Do you think one reason why we all just love him and miss him so much (Marvin Hagler) is cause he never comes around anymore cause he's in Italy?

(Watch the video to see what Al Bernstein says in response to this question)

King J: Are you able to say what is the favorite fight that you ever called?

(Watch the video to see what Al Bernstein says in response to this question)

King J: Can you give some advice to the up-and-coming media people who look up to you and want to be like you and who want to even have your personality. A lot of people just like you as a person. You are very likable. Even everything from your voice, cause you know a lot of announcers they change their voice to a fake macho voice like: YEAAAAH!!!

(Watch the video to see what Al Bernstein says in response to this question)

King J: What is the number one pound-for-pound Chicago deep dish pizza?

(Watch the video to see what Al Bernstein says in response to this question)

King J: Your bio says you are also a singer, correct?.... Can we end this interview with you taking us out with a couple of bars?

(Watch the video to see what Al Bernstein says in response to this question)
