ESPN Friday Night Fights: Live Updates and Round-by-Round Coverage

Live results will be posted for this week's edition of ESPN Friday Night Fights beginning at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2.

The main event features undefeated fighter Fernando Guerrero (20-0, 16 knockouts) in a middleweight bout vs. Derrick Findley (17-4, 11 knockouts).

Opening bout: Shawn Porter (17-0) vs. Anges Adjaho (25-4)

Round 1—Through the first half of the round, Porter has landed some solid body shots and thrown few punches to the head of Adjaho. Porter lands a right hand, and Adjaho returns with a right hand of his own. Porter does some good body work at the end of the round. 10-9 Porter

Round 2—Porter is showcasing his speed early on even if most punches aren’t landing. Porter lands another right hand followed by an uppercut. Adjaho using his high guard and is not letting his hands go. Good round for Porter. 10-9 Porter

Round 3—Adjaho swings wildy early on, and Porter circles away. Porter lands an uppercut along with a right hand. Punch stats so far: Porter 51/166, Adjaho 31/110. Adjaho opens up near the end of the round and makes move. 10-9 Porter

Round 4—Adjaho lands a right hand early on, and Porter backs up. He follows up with a chopping right hand, and Porter isn’t throwing. Porter lands a right and follows up with two left hooks and an uppercut. Adjaho ends the round with a left hand. 10-9 Adjaho

Round 5—Both fighters are blocking well early on. Porter outworking Adjaho in this round but not landing a lot of clean punches. Good round for Porter. 10-9 Porter

Round 6—Adjaho waits for Porter to open up but can’t seem to get his timing down. Adjaho hasn’t thrown any body shots. Porter is landing effectively to the body and often. Adjaho lands a good body shot to end the round, but it was all Porter. 10-9 Porter

Power punches through six rounds: Porter 69/192, Adjaho 42/106.

Round 7—Adjaho is leaning back a lot and covering up but not throwing enough. Porter is able to relax and open up whenever he wants. Adjaho throws five consecutive jabs and lands one or two. Adjaho times Porter with an uppercut. That last punch from Adjaho may have won him the round. 10-9 Adjaho

Round 8—Porter is out-throwing and out-landing Adjaho. Both boxers clinch early in the round. Adjaho is still covering up and giving the round away. Porter attacks Adjaho to the body as he falls against the ropes. 10-9 Porter

Round 9—Porter throws a wild right hand and misses. Porter looks to land a right hand and throws flurries of punches to the body of Adjaho. Porter is utilizing the body punches well in this fight. 10-9 Porter

Round 10—Both fighters open up the last round with a jab. Adjaho slips and Porter opens up with a flurry. Porter rocks Adjaho with an uppercut and tries to return with his own. Teddy Atlas calls Adjaho a heavy bag, and that’s a pretty accurate summary of his performance in this fight. 10-9 Porter

Judges score it 99-91, 99-91 and 97-93 for Shawn Porter.

Main Event: Fernando Guerrero (20-0) vs. Derrick Findley (17-4)

Round 1—Findley is stalking Guerrero early on, and Guerrero is throwing fluid combinations. Findley throws with a lot of power, but Guerrero is staying composed and throwing tight punches. Guerrero’s punch output wins him the round. 10-9 Guerrero

Round 2—Findley lands a nice body punch as Guerrero leans against the ropes. Guerrero waits for his moment and throws two right hands. Findley smiles as Guerrero misses. Guerrero lands a left hand and Findley smiles again. Round ends with Findley throwing a flurry. 10-9 Guerrero

Round 3—Guerrero is working his punches really well this round. He is nonstop in his attack, and Findley can’t find a moment to open up. Findley seems frustrated as Guerrero lands a jab. Guerrero is teeing off on Findley. Solid right hand landed by Guerrero while he sits against the ropes. Guerrero looks great. 10-9 Guerrero

Round 4—Findley’s guard is keeping him in this fight, but Guerrero has a lot of momentum. Guerrero is so much faster than Findley. Findley gets Guerrero into the corner, and Guerrero reverses him and unloads. Findley doesn’t appear hurt, but he is frustrated and overmatched. 10-9 Guerrero

Punches in round four: Guerrero 38/94, Findley 9/34

Round 5—Findley lands some solid body punches on Guerrero, but Guerrero returns with a flurry and opens up with more combinations. Findley’s best moments come when Guerrero goes against the ropes. Other than that, it’s all Guerrero. 10-9 Guerrero

Punch stats through five rounds: Guerrero 158/533, Findley 55/235

Round 6—Guerrero is aggressive early and throwing a lot of punches. Findley is opening up more this round, but that just makes Guerrero fight harder. With a minute to go in the round, Guerrero lands three punches to the body. Findley is coming forward and landing one punch here and there but nothing too clean. 10-9 Guerrero

Round 7—Findley is having a better round early, landing punches while Guerrero stays against the ropes. Findley drops his hands, and Guerrero lands a jab. Findley could have won this round, but he slowed down halfway through, and Guerrero picked up the pace. 10-9 Guerrero

Round 8—So far, average punches thrown per round: 103 for Guerrero and 47 for Findley. Guerrero looks confident as he throws and sits back to observe his work. Findley is smiling and spreading his arms, but he isn’t winning any of these rounds. 10-9 Guerrero

Round 9—Guerrero’s corner telling him to “make it easy,” and he is certainly doing that. Findley needs a knockout and hasn’t been past the eighth round in his entire career. Guerrero is winning this round easily. Guerrero lands a combination on Findley as he goes back to the ropes, and he smiles yet again. Findley is in survival mode. 10-9 Guerrero

Round 10—It’s the final round, and Guerrero urges Findley to attack. Findley is stalking but not throwing. Findley lands an uppercut on Guerrero and two good body shots. He follows up with more body shots and an uppercut. One minute to go, and it appears Guerrero will stay undefeated. Guerrero got the better of Findley down the stretch and probably won the round. 10-9 Guerrero

TOTAL: 100-90 Guerrero

Judges score it 99-91, 99-91 and 100-90 for Fernando Guerrero.
