Manny Paquiao's promoter and Top Rank Promotions owner Bob Arum has practically sounded off Juan Manuel Marquez to prepare for a November encounter with pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao.

This bit of news could be music to Marquez' ears as he may be on his way to fulfill his long-awaited wish and his burning desire to face Manny Pacquiao again for the third time.

Marquez has been chasing Pacquiao since their last fight in 2008, four years after they fought to a draw in Las Vegas Nevada in May 2004.

Three years ago Marquez traveled to Manila practically begging Pacquiao with his folded and bended knees for one last shot at the Filipino boxing icon. Marquez claims he won both fights against Pacquiao and blamed the judges for scoring errors and flawed decisions.

At the MGM Grand last Saturday, the legendary promoter told some members of the media he has already marked November for Manny Pacquiao’s next fight, Philstar.com reports.

The venue, he said, will depend on who the opponent is. He mentioned only three names—Floyd Mayweather (of course), Juan Manuel Marquez (could be) and Andre Berto (perhaps), the report added.

Since Arum mentioned only three names as Pacquiao's next possible opponents, Marquez seems to be the one he is referring to for Paquiao's November fight schedule as Mayweather and Berto have their own issues to sort out.

Mayweather is unable to commit and decide whether he will have time to face Pacquiao due to his legal problems with Nevada courts for charges stemming from his attack on his former girlfriend who is the mother of his two children. He is also facing charges in Nevada for similar offenses.

Berto, on the other hand, must show a very convincing win over Victor Ortiz when they collide in April. A loss to Ortiz will practically scratch his plan to earn a shot at the pound-for-pound king.

Since Arum has limited his choices to just the three of them, and considering the current predicament of Mayweather and Berto, it now appears Juan Manuel Marquez has the November fight with the Filipino boxing superstar on the bag.
