Seattle Seahawks vs. Chicago Bears: How To Survive a Bear Attack

One of this weekend's divisional playoff matchups pits the now 8-9 Seattle Seahawks versus the 11-5 NFC North champion Chicago Bears. Now for the record, lets throw out the records, because the Seahawks clearly aren’t playing by their record.

Hasselbeck and company thrashed the former Super Bowl champs in a seemingly euphoric victory. Even when everybody, including most Seattle fans, had no faith in them even competing, let alone winning in such a fashion, they marched the Saints right on back to New Orleans. Being a Saints fan, I simply say, “Why you bringing up old stuff? That was sooo last week.” So we move forward to this week, “How To Escape from a Bear!”

If Seattle lets Chicago hang around late in the fourth quarter, Chicago will more than likely pull it out.

Chicago probably feels as if they are Super Bowl worthy. Catch the Bears with a snuff while they're not looking at you and this divisional game, but as they are looking past you towards the Super Bowl.

Respond Appropriately Based on the Situation

K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid), you still are the Seattle Seahawks, so don’t try to be someone else now. Stay grounded, and don’t take any unnecessary risks.
