Hello, Creatures of the Night. Rize here with some interesting news I believe you should know about.
While I'm sure we all witnessed the Miz/Morrison match from RAW. Already called match of the year, The Miz got his first clean win as WWE Champion. The same night, Randy Orton won a No. 1 Contenders match.
Orton vs. The Miz is now set for the Royal Rumble. Morrison fans have contested that somehow he would be added to the match. Making the bout a triple-threat match.
As of this writing, the plan for a Miz/Orton match are set and stone. Original plans did call for a triple-threat and a possible addition of Sheamus.
Making the bout a Fatal-Four.
The plans were apparently scrapped after the RAW results.
While plans are subject to change, early plans for the Elimination Chamber PPV have been released. WHC and WWE Champions, Edge and The Miz are planned to defend their titles at the PPV. I'm almost positive the bouts will be decided in the Elimination Chamber.
What match do you want to see at the Royal Rumble?
As a John Morrison fan, I'm excited to hear that a triple-threat match is out of the question. I would rather have Morrison participate in the RR and pursue a strong showing instead of getting pinned again.
We all know Orton wasn't going to put Miz over. But it's bittersweet to learn of this news. While some may disagree, The Miz and Randy Orton for two straight PPVs is simply boring to me.
Please remember that these are the current plans.
They are subject to change but at this point it seems highly unlikely. Being that the Elimination Chamber PPV is next month, the chance for a change of plans is almost overwhelming. One of the biggest factors in all of this would be if Cena is healthy enough to wrestle.
In other news, the trailer for Triple H's new movie has been released. The movie titled The Chaperone involves The Game playing as a former bank robber who is approached for one more job. Be sure to view the trailer on YouTube.
Well, that's all for now folks.
