The Bottom Corner : Manchester United Vs Liverpool-Preview...
The fourth week of the Barclays Premier League will get underway on Saturday.
Here's a quickfire review of the game to watch and the players to keep an eye on.
Manchester United vs Liverpool
One of the most heated rivalries in English football returns this weekend as Liverpool play host to Manchester United.
Ironically, Manchester United's leading goal scorer (last season) Cristiano Ronaldo and his Liverpool counterpart, Fernando Torres are both sidelined for the game.
Liverpool skipper, Steven Gerrard is also likely to miss out on the Anfield clash while Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane will be on the same pitch again - as opponents.
Keane, hasn't scored a single goal since his big money move to Anfield from Spurs.
Manchester United are hopeful of having Ryan Giggs available for the clash as the Welshman remains a doubtful starter, Paul Scholes should start but Owen Hargreaves remains sidelined.
It is believed Ryan Babel will get the nod to play just behind Keane as Xabi Alonso looks set to start against the Red Devils.
Liverpool, despite their injury problems remain confident ahead of the clash as Jaime Carragher suggests.
"It's a big game and at home, with any team, we will be looking for a win."
Rafael Benitez was in a buoyant mood and refused to rule out Liverpool's star duo.
"Clearly we have enough quality in the squad, so it is always important to look to the other players and sometimes they can give more to you than the big names."
"They can have the same quality and passion and they also have a lot to prove to the supporters."
"He (Gerrard) is progressing as for Fernando (Torres), He wants to play but I've been told it would be risky so it will be a last minute decision."
Sir Alex Ferguson refused to reveal his starting lineup ahead of the game.
It remains to be seen whether United go all-out with the likes of Berbatov, Rooney and Tevez or whether Sir Alex decides to keep Tevez on the bench.
Rooney will be high on confidence after hitting the back of the net in England's 4-1 victory over Croatia in midweek.
Despite the circumstances, this Saturday's early kickoff is a must-watch for all.
Manchester United have claimed victory on both occasions in their last two visits to Anfield and they look set to take it to a hatrick.
Man to Watch : Dimitar Berbatov (Manchester United), Dirk Kuyt (Liverpool)
Our Prediction : Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool
