Rusty Jarrett/Getty Images are reporting that John Cena may have suffered an injury at a Raw house show tonight in Wilkes-Barre, PA after taking a bad bump from Wade Barrett's Wasteland.

The reports are saying Cena badly bumped his knee and appeared to be legitimately hurt.

Let's hope this isn't too bad, as a new feud with CM Punk has recently fallen into Cena's lap and would be very difficult for Creative to find a way to get around an injured Cena.

On the other hand, if Cena IS hurt, it could be written that he was injured at the hands of Nexus and Punk during their attack on Monday Night Raw.

Well Bleachers, we'll have to wait and see what happens and hope for the best. The WWE have already seen countless Superstars sidelined this year due to injury and for the face of the company to go into the new year on this list would be nothing short of a disaster.

There should be an update soon, but for now, let's just hope for the best as I said before.

The house show reports are saying that Cena was given a microphone following the match and told the crowd that "got a little beat up tonight" and that if he needs to take time off he will, but will not be carried from the ring.

Also, after the bump, trainers came down to the ring and spoke with the two men before John quickly finished the match with a submission.

It's not looking too good guys.
