Week 16 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings: Tom Brady Is Still Tom Terrific
We're knocking out our weekly player rankings left and right, and the quarterback position is no different. Need some help finalizing your fantasy football roster for Week 16? Then you've come to the right place.
You've covered for all the major positions, but for now, let's keep it simple with our top 10 quarterback rankings:
1. Tom Brady NE @ BUF
Even when he's going up against a stout defense like the Green Bay Packers, Brady still has a solid fantasy outing. Don't expect a trip to Buffalo to be the game where it all goes wrong.
2. Michael Vick PHI vs. MIN
The Vikings can't stop anybody right now, and Vick is coming off one of the most ridiculous fourth quarter runs in NFL history. This game will not be for the faint of heart.
3. Drew Brees NO @ ATL
The Falcons will give him different looks and it might not be easy, but in the end, Brees will get his numbers in a close battle. He never fails to come up huge in these kind of games, and you better believe it will translate to an elite fantasy day.
Who will be the top QB this week?
4. Philip Rivers SD @ CIN
Rivers has Vincent Jackson back in full force, and while he'll likely be without Antonio Gates, the Bengals still don't stand much of a chance at slowing him down. Even on the road, Rivers is easily a top-five passer this week.
5. Aaron Rodgers GB vs. NYG
He can't possibly bring down the house in his first game back, can he? Yeah, he can, and that's exactly what he's about to do. Let's just hope he remembers to slide this time.
6. Matt Schaub HOU @ DEN
Denver is pathetic on defense right now, and while Schaub and co. struggled mightily last week, they should be able to rebound in what looks to be a shootout.
7. Peyton Manning IND @ OAK
The Raiders can present a problem for opposing offenses, and with Austin Collie once again out, you should brace for a few picks from Manning this week. But you should also expect 300+ yards and a few scores, as well.
8. David Garrard JAC vs. WAS
Garrard has been playing very well lately, and really overall on a high level all season. Do you really expect the Redskins to be the team that stops this offense?
9. Ben Roethlisberger PIT vs. CAR
Carolina can get stingy when things are going its way, but with the home crowd and a punishing rush offense, Big Ben will have no pressure and will throw at will. Expect a few touchdowns and deep ball connections with Mike Wallace.
10. Joe Flacco BAL @ CLE
The last time Flacco faced the Browns, he tore up their hapless pass defense. Cleveland's secondary is much improved since that last contest, but not enough to keep Flacco out of the top 10 this week.
