The venerable club PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara does it again by signing Rais Mbolhi (World Cup Goal Keeper for the Algerian National Team ) to a three and a half-year contract.
He arrives in Russia after playing for FC CSKA Sofia and FC Slavia Sofia in Bulgaria. His roster is filled with clubs from different parts of the world.
Rais Mbolhi was born in Paris, France on April 25, 1986 and started his football career early in life. The first club of this goal keeper was RCF Paris followed by Olympique de Marseille.
He has also played for the Heart of the Midlothian in Scotland, Ethnkios Piraeus and Parnetolikos in Greece before going to Japan.
In Japan, he played for the venerable Japan Football League club FC Ryukyu before signing with FC Slavia Sofia in Bulgaria in 2009.
Mbolhi participated in 27 matched and was awarded the best goal keeper of the Bulgarian Football season. He attempted to play in the English League by trying out for Manchester United.
The result was that it never materialized and he was sent to FC CSKA Sofia on a lease basis. He left his mark on the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa as a goal keeper for the Algerian National Team.
He participated in the controversial games between his country (he holds French and Algerian citizenship) and England as well as the United States of America..
Mbolhi also has 12 saves for his team in the 2010 World Cup as well as one in an international friendly.
It appears that PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara is going ahead in its participation in preparing Russia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup with the signing of this World Cup personality.
