In Harms Way is the name of the fight card that was originally featuring Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs Alfonso Gomez as the main event that was to take place Saturday Dec. 4.

This fight card evolved as Gomez had to pull out due to an injury to his elbow.

Gomez was then replaced by Pawel Wolak, a fight that was already planned to happen probably next anyway.

Then all of a sudden, Chavez went MIA for several days where no one was able to reach him. Reports came out that he was suffering from the flu with a dangerously high temperature.

Other reports came out that there was a lot of internal drama within his management team and contractual issues.

Now as we all know the show must go on, and Top Rank has finally decided to step up and put their co-main event fight as the main event fight: Nonito Donaire 25(16)-1 VS Volodymyr Sydorenko 26(7)-2-2.

This will be the largest stage Donaire, the No. 5-ranked pound for pound fighter has ever fought on. The Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., is a true major stadium, home to the Anaheim Ducks and to major music stars concerts right outside of Disneyland. 

On the undercard we have the WBC lightweight title fight of champion Humberto Soto 53(32)-7-2 against Urbano Antillon 28(20)-1.

Pawel Wolak 27(17)-1 v.s. Jose Pinzon 19(12)-1-1.

Mikey Garcia 23(19)-0 v.s. Olivier Lontchi 18(8)-1-2.

For those of you who are local to Anaheim, be sure to come out and witness this great night of fights live in person.
