Trivia Facts and Statistics About Former World Champion John Cena
Months ago on Bleacher Report, I decided to make a six piece article series all about facts, trivia, statistics and "Did you know's?"
Well, this is a one time return of the series as I did lots of research and learned things I never knew about one of the most controversial men currently in the business.
In the series, I write articles of this nature about stars like Steve Austin, Chris Benoit, Shawn Mchaels, Hulk Hogan, Randy Orton and The Undertaker.

So let's begin.
John Cena completed his graduation in 1998 from Springfield in the field of exercise physiology and worked as a chauffeur with a limousine company, while pursuing his bodybuilding career.
Before joining the WWE, John auditioned for the role of Ron Stoppable on the Disney cartoon, Kim Possible. When he didn't get the part, he believed that it was fate telling him to become a wrestler.
It was not until the year in 2000 when he began training to become a Professional Wrestler and then he finally got his call to the roster in 2002 in a match against Kurt Angle.

John Cena was the number one pick of the Draft Lottery in 2005 as he completed his move to RAW and strangely enough, his first match was a tag team match and his partner was Chris Jericho.
These two men turned out to be bitter enemies.
John Cena, despite been billed at a weight of 240 pounds, is freakishly strong and Cena demanded an apology from CNN after he had an interview with them and they kept asking him if he took steroids.
I guess Pro Wrestling has a bad reputation.

Whilst John was promoting his film Legacy, he was asked what his three favourite films are and he stated Talladega Nights, Gangs of New York and Full Metal.
John Cena continuously has been receiving a very mixed reception his entire wrestling career and he had a myspace account, but after too many people threatened him, he had to delete it.
You would think that been chosen the number 30 slot in the Royal Rumble would give you a huge advantage but only two men in WWE history have one the Rumble from that slot.
One being The Undertaker and the other one being John Cena!
John was nominated for "Best Male Athlete" at the 2007 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, but lost it to soccer icon David Beckham.
He was also the only American to be nominated for this award.
Off screen, John is best friends with wrestlers Randy Orton, Samoa Joe and John Hennigan.

John Cena is a nine time World Champion, as is Edge, and the only man currently employed by the WWE with more World Title reigns is Triple H.

Cena writes left handed but throws right handed and favors his right arm in the ring.
During 2002, Cena adopted the classic WWF logo (without the "F") along with the slogan "Word Life" as his "signature symbol" and was joined by an enforcer, B-2 (also written as B², pronounced "B-Squared"), who accompanied him to ringside.
B² was released from his WWE contract in January of 2003 and since then has went on to perform in Japan and at the time formed a partnership with D'Lo Brown, former intercontental champion.
John Cena has been in four films and has had the lead role in two of them.
John Cena has been devoted to the Make-A-Wish Foundation since 2004.
He also earned the foundation's highest honor, the Chris Greicius Award, at WrestleMania XXVI in Phoenix.
Cena has been named PWI Wrestler of the year twice and in his first year as a Pro Wrestler (2002), they awarded him 46th place this was higher than global stars like Christian, Kane, The Big Show and Rey Mysterio.
John Cena's titantron has got over 26 million hits on the largest worldwide video-sharing community, YouTube.
In 2005, Google reported that the characters "John Cena" were searcher over 750 millions throughout the year.
Did you know?
His finisher the FU was made in response to Brock Lesnar F5ing John into a ring post and 'injuring' his knee. John's response: "Your finisher is the F5... well mine's the FU!"
His finisher was later changed to the Attitude Ajustment due to the horrible PG Era.
On Facebook, a John Cena page has got over 3 million "likes".
Cena has a song on the WWE Originals CD, called "Basic Thugonamics." John also has his own CD, called You Can't See Me.
"If you want some...come get some" and "The Champ is HERE" are John Cena's most recognisable and famous quotes.
John Cena share the same birthday (April 23rd) with English rap sensation Taio Cruz and Korean soccer star Lee-young Pyo.
