Roger Federer Poetry In Motion

Quite simply he's is the most graceful athlete i have ever seen. In case nobody knows Roger federer, he is the Tiger Woods of tennis. A dominating player that plays with elegance and style like know other. He currently holds 12 Grand slam titles and has a incredible winning percentage over the last three years that would rival the greatest of any sport

 

A tennis prodigy he plays the game like Beethoven plays the piano effortless with stunning ability practically doing anything he pleases with a racket. His fluid motion is a thing of beauty his movement is quiet and and quick his breathing is barely noticeable and his shots are unheard of. The creative shot making ability is something many have never seen from any point on the court he can create a winning shot out of thin air. Something that leaves the crowd and people watching at home gasping. Its incredible to watch such a player do the things he is capable of doing to his opponent. You will occasionally see the competition on the opposite side of the net throw a racket in disgust or just laugh off what the genius came up with to beat them.

 

 Federer's demeanor on court is silent in an age where players grunt loudly curse the umpires throw temper tantrums and disrespect the game federer will never show his opponent up never hush a crowd and never take his anger out on someone else. He is in complete command of everything on the court when federer plays the crowd stays quiet because they know they are witnessing something rare and truly special. 

 

 His game mixes with a variety of shots. He mixes power with touch, spin with angles, low slice's with volley's. His accuracy is second to none if he wants to hit the ball in the corner on the line he can do so with great regularity. Federer off the court is even better. Most players on tour say he is one of the nicest and most respectful of anyone. Being the best in the world you would think it would give a person a lot of ego. Not Federer his manners are intact always and he always praises his opponents when he sometimes beats them to the point of embarrassment.

 

He gives much of his time to his own and other charity's. Emotion is something rarely seen from federer on the court but off the court he can sometimes break down in tears as people saw at the Australian Open in 2006. Flooded with emotions he could not stop himself, saying ( Its all coming out now). He had just tied and surpassed some of the legends of the game. To him that means something and the whole world saw it on display. Roger Federer is my favorite athlete, he combines everything you could ever want in a champion. He lives his life humble and has each and every priority straight and he seems to never disappoint. What else could you ever want from a great Champion?
