Simply two of the best English talents in English football.
To many Chelsea fans, both of these players are part of the new era of football for Chelsea, bringing titles and cups into the club left right and centre.
Terry and Lampard are seen as the two "Mr Chelsea's" and are loved by Chelsea fans world wide.
Both are also adored by England fans as both have been selected as two of Englands best players time and time again.
The reason for this article is simple, Which player is better?
Who is the favorite amongst the Chelsea fans, who is the favorite amongst football clubs all over the country and of course who is the favorite amongst the England supporters?
I Will try to as fair as possible and give as many facts as I can.
Frank Lampard
He joined Chelsea in 2001 for the price of 11 million pounds and was placed straight into the team he made his debut in a 1-1 draw with Newcastle and in the same season scored seven goals in all competitions.

Lampard was selected as the Barclays Player of the Month in September 2003, and the PFA Fans' Player of the Month in October.
In 2005 he won his first piece of silverwear winning the Premier League title with Chelsea who hadn't won the title for 50 years. In the same season they also took the League cup back to Stamford Bridge.
He has won the League Cup, the FA Cup and the Premier League trophy twice and is one of the most successful midfielders in the Premiership today.
In 2008 he signed a new five year deal at the club and said "I want to finish my career at this club."
Along with Terry he is seen as part of the backbone of the club.
John Terry
Terry made his debut for Chelsea in 1998 in a League Cup win over Aston Villa.
John made his first start as a Chelsea regular in 2000/01 season and was club player of the year. In the 01/02 season he was handed the captains armband for the first time against Charlton the League Cup.
Jose Mourinho gave Terry the captains arm band in the 04/05 season. Terry and Chelsea won the Premier League and League Cup in the same season. They didn't just win the Premier League but they won it in style and in record-breaking fashion with the best defensive record in the Premier League history, the most clean sheets and the most points accrued. They were vastly becoming record breakers everywhere they played.
Terry has won the Premier League twice and the League Cup and the FA Cup once.
He has played in a Champions League final and unfortunately missed a vital penalty in the shootout which saw Manchester united win the title for the third time.
Terry is Captain to both club and country and one of England's brightest stars.

Well they are two completely different players so its not easy to say either Lamps is the best or Terry is the best .
Personally if I had to pick my favourite then I' say John Terry , he is super-human , he insists he is ok after breaking his face , or being knocked out or something minor like that ( Minor , My A**e) ,
And of course I have big respect for him after slipping like Chris Eubank in the final ha ha .

Essien is the best Chelsea player.
Terry is a good player, but I think Lampard is a more important player to Chelsea.

Statistically (and we all know what they’re worth) the answer seems to be Terry. Those times when Chelsea has been without him we’ve suffered and even though we’ve “ground out” the result we’ve look a much weaker outfit. The same is not true of Lampard. He’s unquestionably a great mid-fielder but we’ve got at lest six world class players in mid-field all itching to get on the field and play their hearts out.

Terry's importance is huge no doubt and he is one of the biggest reasons why Chelsea win in the first place, absolutely solid.
But in terms of contribution to the team as a whole Lampard does a lot more solely because of the position he plays in so I'm going with Lampard.
