Hello Bleachers, the Champ is here with this week's wrestling news.
Toxicology results for Luna Vachon are finally in. The medical examiner's office in Florida has revealed the 48-year-old died of an accidental overdose of painkillers and anti-anxiety medication.
TMZ.com reported that snorting straws and crushed pill residue were found on the scene.
Rest in peace, Luna Vachon.
I'm sure all of you were wondering why CM Punk attacked Evan Bourne on Monday. Bourne is due to undergo surgery on his shoulder later this month. He will be out at least four months. Ouch.
Well, at least we don't have to see this EXTREMELY talented wrestler wasted by WWE Creative every week. Hopefully they can figure out something suitable for Evan upon his return.
His tag team partner, Mark Henry, may be taking a small amount of time off. On October 3rd, Mark's older brother Patrick suffered a stroke. He is fighting for his life after two surgeries on his brain. My prayers are with Mark and his family.
After Lita's interview and her rants on Matt Hardy's current controversy, he responded to her in his latest YouTube video. Matt talks about when he first met Lita up until right now.
You can view it here.
Hardy never spoke badly of Dumas in the video. That's very surprising. Wonder where he is going to end up...
Ol' Jim Ross has given No. 1 wrestler AJ Styles praise in his latest blog. Ross said:
"Yes emailer…I think AJ Styles is a great in ring talent, perhaps even underutilized, but he is not better at this time than was HBK in Shawn’s prime. That’s not a knock on Styles even though some will take it as such. To even compare AJ to HBK should be looked upon as high praise. Some have even blasted me for having the ‘audacity’ to express this particular opinion."
Great to see a Hall of Famer giving Styles some credit. How bad does TNA booking have to be when your best wrestler is underutilized?
Now we've all seen the controversial Kaitlyn photos a few months back. Well, she's back with a LOT more. View the pics here.
Well, that's all for today, folks.
