Do we realize what we are currently witnessing in these 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing?  betsportsweb sure does.  Michael Phelps is shattering records left and right.  He is just not breaking time trial records, but also gold medal records.

Today Phelps waltzed towards the capture of his career 10th and 11th gold medals, which happens to be the most in Olympic history.  "To be the most decorated Olympian of all time, it just sounds weird saying it," Phelps said. "I have absolutely nothing to say. I'm speechless."

And why stop there?  Phelps will compete for 8 gold medals in these 2008 Games and he already has realized 5 of those 8.  So, if you do the math, he could potentially reach a whopping 14 career gold medals, should he win these last 3 medal events.

While Michael Phelps is out-swimming the competition in these Olympic Games, he is quickly showing who is the greatest in Olympic history.  Phelps accomplishments are simply amazing.

"There's nobody in any sport that can win like he wins," declared American men's coach Eddie Reese. "He's not just winning, he's crunching world records and crunching the field."

Everybody stay tuned because you are witnessing history in the making, along with the emergence of the best to ever don a pair of Speedos.  Michael Phelps is stealing the show in Beijing and you should not want to miss it.
