WWE: Five Reasons Why I Will Always Support Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy has been one of the most talked about superstars in recent weeks.
Rumors began circulating a while back that he was sent home from several WWE events for reasons I won't go into.
Matt has responded to some of these events on twitter and youtube. He is getting a lot of backlash from the IWC for comments he has made recently.

Fatu Ready to Upset Reigns, More Raw Fallout 👀
Some people think the remaining Hardy boy's time is up with WWE, he just doesn't have his walking papers yet.
Matt Hardy has always been one of my favorite wrestlers.
Some might even call me a Hardy Mark. Well I have no problem with that because Matt has proven himself to me and that's all I care about.
Many of his former fans have stopped cheering for the ultimate underdog because he either put on a few pounds or because he has become so vocal on the internet about his feelings.
Many people pointed out that Hardy looked strange in a video he posted on youtube recently. They said his eyes were bloodshot and that he looked kind of sick.
This is ridiculous to speculate on for many reasons.
The first being that Matt began a diet and has dropped nearly thirty pounds. That can impact the way you look for a short time. This is coming from experience. I dropped a ton of weight over the course of the summer and people were always asking if I was sick when, in fact, I had never felt better.
Another reason Matt may have had bloodshot eyes is that he recently travelled internationally, which can take its toll on a person, and had some kind of incident which resulted in him being sent to his hotel room.
Maybe he had gotten a little emotional, hence the bloodshot eyes.
Some people say Matt is on drugs, which I find laughable because he has never had that reputation, and would not start now considering WWE has updated their wellness policy.
He isn't dumb enough to risk his release over some drugs.
So here are the five reasons why I will always support Version1.
1. He has always been a top notch performer
Matt, along with his brother, innovated the ladder and TLC matches, taking them to a whole new level of performance.
He also had some of the WWE's best feuds, which in turn brought in viewers and money to the company.
The amazing feud with Edge resulted in three great matches.
A street fight, a ladder match and the infamous cage match where Matt delivered a leg drop from the top of the cage.
For those who may not think much about injuries to wrestlers, a leg drop from that height is crazy because there are so many ways to get injured, plus your body is taking the full force of the impact instead of having someone catch you and help you land like with a cross body block or moonsault.
Great feuds with guys like MVP and Mark Henry have resulted in him winning titles. No matter how you look at it, Matt has always performed at a standard not easy to reach.
2. He interacts with his fans
First off, screw Paul London.
Matt has always been great to his fans. I got to meet him at an event years ago and he was probably the most outgoing, and kind wrestler I met during the event.
Matt constantly responds to his Twitter followers which I rarely see other WWE guys do.
Matt has also been known to give little hints of where he is to his Twitter followers so they can find him and maybe get his autograph or just say hi.
Who else does that?
No one.
3. He has never given up
Matt has suffered numerous injuries and ailments and yet he has never once given up on his passion. When he suffered the knee injury that kept him sidelined for nearly a year many said that he would never wrestle again.
When his appendix burst, which has also happened to yours truly, he was back in time to ruin Wrestlemania for MVP. When his abdominal wall was swollen for a long time he never complained and still put on great matches.
When he suffered the tear in his abdomen he was back before I could miss him.
This guy truly will not die.
4. Matt has the true passion for wrestling
Guys like Batista, Matt Morgan, Mark Henry, Kurt Angle and many others were not life long wrestling fans and didn't consider it as a career until later in life.
Matt began his own promotion touring fairs and carnivals when he was 14.
Can you imagine doing something like that before you could drive.
Matt and his brother came up in the WWE when being the new guy was hard. They got dressed in the hallway and jobbed to guys who are now in rehab and getting arrested.
They showed their passion and were rewarded with talent contracts for their efforts.
5. He has personally acknowledged my work on this site
This is a selfish reason, but they are my reasons so I can have one. Matt has tweeted out three of my articles and they got huge reads because of him. The articles may have been about him or his brother but the fact that he did it shows he cares about what we do as IWC writers.
The fact that he read them and then felt the need to send them to his followers is huge for me as a fan of his.
So there it is folks. I will never stop supporting Matt Hardy no matter how much the people on this or other sites bash him because he has proven his worth and then some.
