Roberto Alvarez-GallosoSep 14, 2010

Javier Orozco, who is one of Cruz Azul's players, declared that the team is close to the type of game that its coach Enrique Meza desires.

Cruz Azul, according to Javier Orozco, appears more confident in view of its recent victory against Atlas although he recognized that the team has to play against stronger opponents.

He also expressed a desire for Cruz Azul to be the champions of the Mexican League 2010-2011 as well as the CONCACAF Champions League.

Orozco also expressed his thanks to the Mexican Press and fans of Cruz Azul for choosing him as their main idol. He expressed that being an idol does not mean being an "artificial" person but to do the best for the team, the community, and the nation.

The interview of Orozco with the sports magazine Medio Tiempo.com took place as the team is making preparations for its next game in the CONCACAF Champions League against the Panamanian team Arabe Unido on Sept. 15, 2010.

While Cruz Azul has improved its status, it still has a long way to go before winning the Mexican League 2010-2011 and the CONCACAF Champions League.

In closing, Cruz Azul has one of its principal cheerleaders named Pamela cheering the team.
