Blackburn Rovers In For A Tough Season
I think Blackburn Rovers are in for a tough season and I'll tell you why.
Rovers may have appointed Paul Ince as their new manager to replace the departed Mark Hughes but that's about all they've replaced.
Ince is a progressive appointment but he'll be no use without at least some sort of effort in the transfer market.

David Bentley (Tottenham Hotspur) and Brad Friedel (Aston Villa) have both left for rival clubs below the top four. Not to mention their former boss Hughes, who went to Manchester City.
All three clubs are technically the Ewood Park club's main rivals around the English Premier League's UEFA Cup zone.
Why sell your best players to your rivals?
That is not such a progressive move.
Now the rumours have started about the future of last seasons top scorer Roque Santa Cruz.
The rumour is, he'll move to either Manchester City or Aston Villa for £15 million.
Why?
Blackburn have only brought in troubled goalkeeper Paul Robinson to replace a trusted performer in Friedel.
Another questionable decision in my eyes.
Danny Simpson on loan from Manchester United is their only other noteable transfer activity.
Obviously, apart from selling their best players!
With Blackburn's rivals strengthening their squads, often at Blackburn's expense, it must be down hill from here.
Unless Rovers get their finger out soon.
Blackburn will finish in the bottom half, at best.
