U.S. Open Results, Scores and Brackets: Friday's Winners and Losers

    It's Women's Semifinal day, and the top seed was sent packing. It's still windy in Flushing Meadows, but that doesn't mean there wasn't good tennis to be seen. Venus Williams and Kim Clijsters' match had to be decided in the third set.

    6-4 6-3

    The top seed on the women's side, Caroline Wozniacki, went down in straight sets to Vera Zvonareva. Zvonareva will play Saturday in hopes of winning her first Grand Slam title.

    It took 3 sets and two and a half hours for Kim Clijsters to put away Venus Williams. Clijsters will go for her 3rd U.S. Open title Saturday.
