So, despite losing over $100 million in his highly publicized divorce, Tiger Woods is still planning to build his mega mansion on Jupiter Island in Florida.
It would seem as though his divorce from former Swedish model Elin Nordegren has spurred Woods to action, and he's continuing his plans to build his dream house.
Woods recently took out a $54 million mortgage to build his dream home. What will be in this incredible bachelor pad? Well, here's what we know so far.
An Oxygen Therapy Room
Woods' room will be way cooler than this.
One of the theraputic options Woods will have at his disposal is a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, a la Michael Jackson. The levels of oxygen are lower than they are in a normal room, which will allow Woods to build his stamina and help him take more oxygen into his bloodstream.
A Practice Course
Woods' course probably won't be that big. Probably.
Woods is allegedly putting a practice course in his compound. We don't know much more than that, but I bet he models it after St. Andrews.
A Pool
One pool.
Tiger's got a pool. Big deal! Lots of celebrities have them.
Another Pool
Two pools
Ok, so Woods wants a lap pool too. Perfectly reasonable.
Another Pool
Ok, that makes sense. A bit excessive, but he'll need it when the kids come over.
And One More For Good Measure
This isn't Tiger's, but you get the idea.
And a pool to use with all the ladies he's going to be bringing home. Come on, man! Just use the kiddy pool, or build a hot tub!
A Fitness Center
Actual size may vary.
Tiger's going to have a massive fitness center attached to his mansion, full of what most of us would consider to be instruments of torture.
Tennis Courts
Tiger's courts will look just like this, but without the houses or happy playground nearby.
So, he wants a state-of-the-art tennis court, too? Works for me; you can't be a snooty rich person without a tennis court. Plus, he's friends with Roger Federer, so they can play together on the state-of-the-art court.
How a tennis court is state of the art is beyond me.
Where's He Going To Put All Of This Stuff?
Right about there.
Those are the properties on Jupiter Island that Woods knocked down to build this epic compound, with a golf course, tennis courts, four pools, a fitness center, and the mansion itself. Yes. He bought up a major chunk of an exclusive island because he thought he wasn't isolated enough.
What's It Look Like?
Right now, this.
Right now, it looks something like this. I assume it'll be nicer when it's done. I hope it'll be nicer when it's done.
