Fantasy Football: Hakeem Nicks Fantasy Jabber
New York Giants Wide Receiver Hakeem Nicks heads into his second year in the NFL as a favored contender to be the Giants top Wide Receiver.
With this honor, as well as being in the biggest market, it is somewhat surprising that he is not being touted by more of the major media outlets as a sleeper candidate.
We believe that Nicks will turn some heads in fantasy football circles this season; why not have those heads turn toward your team?

New Report on Colts-Richardson Situation

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In 2009 the Giants needed a player to step up. Steve Smith was that player while Hakeem Nicks nursed injuries.
In the wake of Smith’s breakout season, Nicks is getting the short end on fantasy draft day between the two with an average draft pick of 1.5 rounds later than Smith.
While Smith is getting that attention on game days, it opens things up for Nicks.
While the Giants would like to return to a more balanced attack this season, it’s not as easy as flipping a switch to turn on the run game.
Eli Manning seems to have turned a corner and if the Giants need to pass to win, they will. If Nicks can remain healthy, he can be on the receiving end of many of those passes.
Working against Hakeem Nicks the most may be the depth at the position that the Giants possess.
Mario Manningham fought him for time in 2009 and if Nicks can’t stay healthy, he has a chance of being a problem for Nicks this year too.
We feel that Nicks can be a solid No. 2 WR with the possibility of being a No. 1 if the cards fall right.
If you are on the fence about Nicks and don’t know when to take him, you may watch to see when Steve Smith comes off the board as he often comes off first out of the two. Shortly there after you can bet Nicks will follow suit.
Currently Nicks has an Average Draft Position (ADP) of the middle of the fifth round. We feel you can go even a round earlier to get Nicks and he will have a big upside for you at a No. 2WR position if you have already taken one.
At this time, Nicks is ranked at No. 12 in our Wide Receiver Redraft Rankings.
Fantasy Points are standard scoring, 1 point per 10 yards, 6 points per TD. PPR points factor in a point per reception.
