Brad Keselowski: Will NASCAR Fans Ever Forgive Him?

BRISTOL, TN - AUGUST 21: Kyle Busch, driver of the #18 Doublemint Toyota, and Brad Keselowski, driver of the #12 Penske Dodge, drive during the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series IRWIN Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway on August 21, 2010 in Bristol, Tennessee. (Photo by Todd Warshaw/Getty Images)

Look at the picture, Brad had a shot and did not take it!

Yes, the headline is a bit over the top, but I know there had to be many disappointed fans who wanted to see Big K “punt” Kyle Busch Saturday night.

Don’t you agree?

I don’t even drink but I took a 12-pack of beer bet on the over-and-under. I took over lap 250, I guess you know I lost, the punt never happened.

Not only did I lose a bet but I was very disappointed in Brad Keselowski, he gave Kyle a few token “I’m going to race you hard ” laps, it reminded me of a WWF pretend wrestling match.

I’m guessing NASCAR’s hands were all over this, it appears to me the big boys got to Big K, maybe not in the hauler where the media could see it, but behind the huller, you know in that secret dungeon, the one dressed up as a hospitality booth.

The conversation may have included the words like, "This is over...it’s prime-time television," and "behave."

Again that’s over the top, but you know what I’m saying. Hope NASCAR has a good sense of humor.

Seriously folks, Brad Keselowski got a talking to by NASCAR or his team owner, that’s the only explanation I can come up with. Think about it, after what happened Friday night in the Nationwide race, how many drivers do you know would forget and forgive this quickly?

I can’t think of one. Can you?

This may give Brad Keselowski the label of “he won’t pay back” and expose him to lots of abuse from his peers.

Agree?

Big K needs to handle this in 2010, so he can move on and concentrate on having a great 2011 season with no conflicts pending.

Brad allowed Kyle Bush to have a great Bristol weekend, maybe the chase won't be so great for No. 18, like Jeff Gordon, Kyle has many IOU’s out there that may be cashed in during the chase.

We can all agree on that.

As always this is just a fan’s opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I thank God for that.

Enough said.

Side note: It's come to my attention Brad is on probation, but so what, accidents do happen while racing ...don't they?

Where can I comment?
