Maybe this should serve as a warning to the rest of the league: Don't come into Oklahoma City thinking you are going to push the Thunder around next year.

Nenad Krstic is not having it.

I repeat, Krstic sees that look on your face, and he has a chair waiting for you.

You don't know what I'm talking about?

Okay.

Well, during the finals of the Acropolis tournament, Krstic contributed points, rebounds, and beat downs.

But only one of those three landed him in jail...

A Little Pushing and Shoving

Here's what went down...

A fight broke out between two players during a match of Greece and Serbia's national teams.

Like most basketball fights, it starts with harsh words, some pushing and grabbing, and then other guys jump between the combatants.

And then it happened...

Then Came The Spit

You can judge for yourself but it seems as if the Serbian player spits at the Greek player.

Regardless of where you are, that is a no-no, usually.

Now what that did is get more people involved and more pushing, shoving, and punching.

But something else happened...

Big Sofo Enters

Because the fight escalated, Sofoklis Schortsanitis, aka Big Sofo (who is a really big mofo) got involved.

And when I say big, I mean Shaq-like (6'10, 345 lbs).

First Big Sofo gets in a little pushing and shoving, but is kept away from the main fight.

But then he gets one of the Serbian players within arm's reach and well...

Krstic The Hero

Krstic2_gallery_2009_display_image

If you've been following, Big Sofo is, at this point, involved in the fight and is pounding a fallen Serbian player.

Nenad Krstic decides that he has to get this big mofo off of his teammate by any means.

So he pounds on Big Sofo's back and head area, not figuring the giant could feel it.

Here's where it gets good, Sofo turns and faces Krstic with an amazing "WTF" look on his face.

And Krstic realizes two things:

1) I was successful in getting this guy off my teammate.

2) But now this guy wants to fight me and there aren't enough people trying to stop him.

The Video...

So now Big Sofo is heading for Krstic, but Nenad is smart enough to back up and let a crowd get between them.

At this point Krstic gets what we usually call "beer muscles."

Without the beer.

Now that there is a bunch of people between him and the big guy, he decides it's time to bring a chair into the mix.

Now that you are officially prepped...

See the whole thing develop for yourself.

Krstic Coming at You

Apparently chair tossing is a crime in Greece.

Because that incident earned Krstic a night in an Athens jail.

Don't you wish you could be there when the OKC video guy edits together a nice feature of Krstic fleeing from big Sofo for the rest of the team to laugh at?

Let that be a lesson to you, Bynum and Gasol.

Krstic has his boys' backs!

Kind of.
