U.S Open Preview Top 5 Form

Tristan SatherAug 18, 2010

This is a much anticipated US. Open their is a variety of players that could win including Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Robin Soderling, etc.

                                    Top 5 Form

 1. Andy Murray is hitting his ground strokes better than anyone. He is number one on this list because he won the Rogers cup, beating Rafael Nadal in the semis and Roger Federer in the final, both in straight sets. Andy Murray is a complete player, he can hit a winner with is forehand and backhand on a consistent basis. He has a history of failing under pressure he has a made a grand slam final twice and lost both.

2. Rafael Nadal

I have Nadal in front of Federer because Federer is getting old and starting to play defensive against guys like Nadal, Murray and Djokovic. He is also in front of Federer because he has a winning record against him. Nadal is a great competitor and has the best forehand in the world.

3.Roger Federer

Roger Federer never loses is temper, which helps significantly during his comebacks and crucial points. Roger's serve has been really effective during the Rogers cup, specially his spinning serve to the backhand. Federer has also been volleying really well, i think he could do some damage during the U.S Open.

4. Novak Djokovic

Novak is a very talented Tennis player , he has developed a penetrating and powerful forehand down the line. Novak is extremely competitive which leads to him getting upset and playing poorly. Novak is number four because he plays well on the hardcourt and is consistent.

5. Thomas Berdych

Thomas Berdych is a powerful player who hits a lot of winners and aces. I think he will serve well at the U.S Open. Berdych is currently ranked 7 on the ATP rankings. I don't know what else to say about Berdych.

The US.Open starts in about two weeks enjoy. I pick Andy Murray to verse Nadal in the final and win.
