The Bengals' New Reality Show: Terrell Owens and Ochocinco

Daniel WolfJul 27, 2010

It's official, Vh1 has invaded Cincinnati and Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco are now teammates. Owens agreed to a one-year deal worth $2 million.

Is this receiving duo the NFL's version of LeBron James joining up with Dwayne Wade?

Obviously, these are different sports, but two mega-powers at the receiver position have just come together to form a very dangerous set of weapons for Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer.

After having his own Vh1 show one year ago, "The T.O. Show" got picked up for a second season this summer. In the first episode, Owens said he might be done with football.

Fast forward to the third episode, which was just aired this past week, and viewers saw Owens hanging out at NewYork's Fashion Week in a scene that just didn't seem to fit him. The episode ended with him reconsidering hanging up the cleats and getting back to the gridiron.

Now, Owens is back on the field and will be wearing Bengal orange while joining his friend Ochocinco.

Ochocinco also has a Vh1 show, "The Ultimate Catch," where Owens actually appeared on an episode to help Ochocinco sort through a bevy of women.

Bengals fans everywhere should be very excited by the addition of Owens, regardless of his past, because both receivers are going to put on some kind of show.

The real question is who are the odd receivers out now?

Antonio Bryant was signed to a four-year deal, but now there are questions about his durability and health.

Andre Caldwell was penciled in to be the slot receiver, but is that Owens's role now?

What about rookie Jordan Shipley?

There are so many questions going into camp at the receiver position for the Bengals, and this will be a hot topic all training camp long.

In the end, hopefully, Owens and Ochocinco will not get into a "I want the ball" battle, because if they just go out and play the game, the Bengals offense will be very dangerous.
